I am wondering what kind of flack or problems would arise if the exchanger was by passed, the transshop I have the truck in is saying you need it, they are installing a new aftermarket cooler and new lines , I think the shop personaly is buying time, they said they'd have it friday and couldnt come threw and is wanting also to add more labor $ , All Comments is appriciated. I don't know exactly what the tranny cooler lines run into. If it is a smaller cooler or run in to a seperate tank on the Rad. But if there installing a bigger cooler you really can't go wrong. Bigger is better when it comes to cooling that transmission. But you could also run a deeper pan and just run a stock cooler also. But it really boils down to what are you doing with the truck.
