Making Headway on the twins agian

Well, I got my cold pipe cut, put together and welded tonight. No pics yet, and It still needs a lot of clean up. I'm still in a cast so my welds aren't the prettiest, but with some grinding it may look alright in the end. Anyways, that leaves me with making a Down pipe, an Intake tube and the 2nd cold pipe to the intercooler. I'm going to go start picking up/ordering the rest of the parts and should be done in the next week or so, just in time to go do some summer testing.

For those that don't know the project, It twins for under a $1000. I'm using an Hx35 and an H2e. I seem to be well within budget at this point too. only $418 to date.

Glad to see you got it up a going again. Can't wait to see some results. What are you going to do about the trans and more fuel?

Well, I'm still debating on a DTT or Goerend, and starting to lean towards a Goerend Trans. As for fuel, its a pretty small bottom turbo, so I think Mach 4's or 5's. I figure with mach 5's I'll have a bit of smoke and heat back up top on 5x5, but thats fine. If I'm towing I should be just fine with the box turned down.

I don't have a trans yet, so I may throw them on my friends truck just to test and play around. I kind of want to anyways, cause he has 13" travel Baja Suspension on his truck and we're going to the dunes. That could be a lot of fun.

About time you got the show on the road, we need pics again too. You thinking about doing any air elbow, intercooler, exhaust manifold, exhaust or intake stuff ?

I may throw on a 3 piece manifold. I definitely will when I build the twins I really want. The twins I really want keeps changing on me all the time too. I had been thinking an hx35/ht3b combo. But now I'm thinking htbg/ht3b or 62/13-ht3b.

I'm going to run a 5inch intake and exhaust as well. I don't think I need a different intercooler, and I think a stock intake horn will be fine for my application. Studs will be on order too though.
