WOW that was simple

Well I was worried my serpentine belt would be A pain in the but like some of the timing belts I had put in cars. So I called an auto repair place and they quoted me 175 for the job since I already had the belt. I thankfully decided to say screw that and put it on my self. And boy was it simple I think I was done with the tools up in 5 min. flat. So if for some reason you ever pay someone to put on your serpentine belt DONT!!! Put it on yourself and save a couple of hundred. It is easier than changing oil. Thx all the TDG members who told me it was simple. By the way I used a goodyear gatorback belt, there is no more squeal when I shut down is that normal?

Yeah its normal to lose the squeak. I personally like that little squeak though, just reminds me what I'm driving.

Yes that is normal, as the Gatorback belts are guaranteed not to stretch. So with it staying tight it looses the squeak. They also have a lifetime guarantee, so keep your receipt.
