12 volt or 24 volt trans temp gauge

Getting the last of my gauges ordered today, and I was wondering if I need the 24 volt or 12 volt transmission gauge or if it even matters. Thanks.

I would think 12 volt since our systems are only 12 volt, thats what mine is...
