setting with the smarty

Hey guys got a question, I got a buddy with the 01 cummins with a powermax cr and a smarty. What setting comb. do yall like best and are you seeing really high egts.

He has a PM3 right not the powermax CR. I'm assuming he just told you incorrectly because the CR is for the Common Rail motors, and not for our trucks. Every driver is different and so is everytruck. Both are easily adjustable, so I'd just start playing around and see what you guys like best.

i agree with sean just kinda play aroung and see what you like maybe compare it with other products you never know you might find something different like i played with bullydog for a while and now i have the edge in my truck.

Ya I meant the pm3, I dont know why the hell I said cr anyways ya we have played with it alot and you would think the best setting would be the smarty on 8 an pm3 on 9 but that is not the case. The best we have found is the smarty on 8 but the pm3 only on 6. Doesnt make since but that is what we have found just for future info for anybody with this combo. Thanks guys.

The TST boxes can cause a bad shudder and a power loss on some trucks when using anything above level 6.
