Traction Bars

I'm going to be putting traction bars on very soon and was wondering what the best traction bars is for pulling and dragging. And should I make them or buy them. And also length. I was told 60".

I'd shoot D2HP on here a PM. He is a supporting vendor, and based on an 11 page ford thread on traction bars, he seems to know what he is talking about. I think length will depend a bit on what wheel base you are running. If you're running a short wheel base truck, then 60 is probably a decent length, a longer wheel base truck might do better with longer traction bars, kind of keep it towards the center of the frame.

If you're just using it for pulling and racing, and aren't towing much or worried about the ride, or will just pull them back off for Daily Driving, I would think that fixed at both ends would be the way you'd want to go.
