Industrial injection, Bluechip diesel, or schieds are all pretty good. There are some vendors on here that sell for some of these companies that will get you hooked up. If its not acting funny, I wouldn't necessarily jump on replacing it. There is a guy on here, Phily 911 that has been running a P0216 code for a while now, I think almost a year, and hasn't been having terrible trouble, but... Its up to you And that isn't usually the case either. If its more convenient to replace it now than to wait and haven't go out on you sometime down the road, its probably a good idea just to do it.

pump

If you dont want to buy a new one, I have a 245 ho pump for sale. I bought it from RAMPAGE about two months ago. he p-pump his truck and is now a full time puller. I bought for a spare and I just got a good deal on Hot Rod pump so I wont be needing it. Let me know it might be going on Ebay, need $$ to cover the hot rod pump!!:smoke

Sstockton gave you some good advice. It is one of those things that it is not ever going to go away, but it might run for a while yet. It also might never start again once you shut it off. I noticed your sig says 97', should that be 98'?

As for Parttimepuller offering the HO pump. It will work on your truck, but the results are not desireable. You can not swap out a SO for a HO and vice versa with good results.

Since you have to replace the pump anyways, myself I would just go ahead and put a Hot Rod VP44 on it and be done.
