:agreed: I wouldn't mind a HO just because of how efficient they are when hauling and how they are louder than SO.

Make sure you check the lift pump pressure with a temporary gauge or get a fuel pressure gauge installed. Hate to see that good deal get killed with $2000 worth of injection pump repairs.

Those deals come along from time to time and its awesome if you can get them. About 2 years ago, my buddy got a 97 12v ext. cab 4x4, with 27,000 miles on it, that had been garaged its entire life 100% stock, and all maintaince records. Beautiful truck, and it looked brand new at 8 years old. He only paid 14,000 for it.

I found one a while back, that was a regular cab 4x4, 12v all the pictures looked great, just shy of 100k, and the woman was asking $5,000 for it. That was a sad story, it was her husbands truck and he had passed away and she wanted it gone. I called on it, but it had already sold. I called 4 hours after the ad had been posted.

Anyways, back to yours, Like bouncer said, start monitoring fuel pressure immediately. But it sounds like you've got yourself a good truck.
