Got new injectors

Just bought some injectors. Picking them up tuesday. The guy said they are 125 hp BD injectors they came out of his 99 cummins. He had a head advertized to but I called to late. Anyway I got them for $350.

99 Cummins 2500
Amsoil CAI,BD boost elbow,Comp hot,Fass 150,Full billet Trans built by joe wilcocks,BD T/C and valvebody,lock up switch,BD exhaust manifold,125 hp sticks,ATS intake,6in. mitr cut stacks

Sweet, Sounds like you came across a great deal, I would like to hear about how they work for you, injectors will be my next modification. Im just waiting for them to come in. BTW: post how your egt's change.

what are the stock injectors in a 01 rated at?:shrug:

I'm not sure I get what you're asking? They flow 660cc @100bar for 30sec. in an S.O. and 600cc @ same measurement in an H.O.

The 125hp he is talking about is a rating over stock. An 01 SO is rated at 235hp and the HO is rated at 245hp although it has smaller injectors.

so then when people talk about getting new 125hp injectors that 235hp + 125hp?

Basically, yes. They get those numbers from stock trucks though. So you might not get exactly that amount.

Yeah, it varies from truck to truck, but essentially thats the idea. Its a rating over stock, just like a box. However larger injectors will help you get the full potential out of your box, if you have one, so you may notice a larger gain if you dyno'd back to back a truck with a box and stock injectors Vs. the same truck with the new injectors. Stockers are like trying to suck a watermelon through a straw.

injectors

Let me know if any of guys want to a set 240's!!!!!!!! i have a set that Im going to be selling. They are like and came from Daves Diesel. I wont need them anymore since I going to buy a 97 with a 24 valve already on it... If you like some smoke these are it.
