What do you think?

I found a turbo that has the waste gate welded shut in the exhaust housing. It also has play in the center shaft? Would it be safe to use? It is an HX-40

I'm not a turbo expert...but any turbo with play in the center shaft can't be a good thing.

I'm not either, if it was going on a busa or something I could give you a parts list, I'm still new to diesels. I have a bad habit of trying to be the first to do something, I have had good turn outs and bad, so I'm using self control and trying not to do anything stupid since this truck is my daily driver,

What about a garrett from a 6.0 stroke? The sound they make is awesome
