how to turn up the fuel on VP44

Im helping a buddy work on a 1999 2500, he wants to turn up the fuel on the pump. Any body know a trick to this, any help is apprecciated.

Well...You can't turn up the fuel on a 24v as you can on a 12v, due to the VP44 being electroinc fuel injected, not mechanical. To "turn up the fuel" he will need to buy a "box" such as an Edge Comp, or BlueChip, or TST, or Quadzilla, something that Taps the pump. If you want smoke you can get a programmer, some people see quite a but out of them, but not everyone. However if he plans to get more fuel to the truck, he'll deffinitly want to buy some gauges! Fuel Pressure in these trucks is crucial!

yes, i would get gauge's first. I only had a superchip on 70hp and i pulled heavy loads w/o gauges and when i got the gauges i was really supprised that i didn;t melt something down before. But yes its all electronical, just make sure you get gauges or one that reads it for u like the edge juice.

Our trucks are completely electronic and require some sort of programmer and/or enhancement box to get more fuel.

But get gauges first! This is protect the engine from getting burned up!
