Intercooler boots

For some reason the boot on the "in" side of my intercooler keeps blowing off.

Any suggestions on why? Could it be clogged somewhere? Also are there any kits worth the money to make better power?

Does anyone make an aftermarket kit for intercooler tubes that delete the boots or just a performance kit?

For the time being you can clean both ends of the boot good and the pipe nipples. Make sure there is no grease or oil. Then got in the bathroom and steal a can of hair spray from the female of the house... Hose it down good... Re-install the boot.

As for preformance boots...

the hairspray works good you can also scuff the surface and put your boots back on that usually helps a bunch too

the best thing to soak them in is acetone that you can buy at o reillys for $5 it works if it has any grease at all on it mine kept blowing off at 60 psi and i cleaned them with the acetone and they have never blown off again
