running lights for fog lights

I hardly ever use my fog lights so i was thinking of taking out the bulbs and putting orange running lights in instead. has anyone ever seen this or done this i think it would give the truck more of a big rig look but id like to see some pictures first. thanks for any imput.

Keep the housing and just convert them to the 12000 HID's

If your doing away with the wires that connect the fog lights together and then to the main harness I've been looking for one for a while. I will buy the wire off you... Let me know.

Sounds like it should work to me. I would also like to see some pictures. Should look good especially with some orange running lights
