Tranny cost for a 01 Dodge

I dont like to come down here to the dundgen but...

Got a guy looking for a Dodge tranny (auto). Its got an EDGE box now but he wants to add a bit more at a later date... He is being giving a cost of $4400 installed but that seems kinda high to me???:shrug:

01 F-250 SC PSD,210k,16 Isspro Gauges, AFE-2,CCV Mod,IAH delete,map reg,Modded H2e, 6.0 IC, GTS Hybrid injectors, Studs, 910 Valve springs, Forged rods Water injection,Swamps tuned, MBRP 4" dual's, Aero, 6" tip's, 100 axl tank, 4" Revtek lift, 37-14.50-17 TOYO MT's 469hp and 1068tq...

Goerends base trans is $3850, and thats about as cheap as it gets.

Might not be high if it includes, a billet t/c, new v/b and internals, and it really depends on who it is from.

that actually sounds about right, full built are pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for, goerends has excellent customer service and will help with whatever you need

Well like I said it sounded a little high... but from what I am reading from you all its about in the ball park for a mild built tranny... He is saying BTC, and a shift kit... all the crap that goes into a dodge tranny...

you want a tranny built well it'll cost you, how much do you put into a 4r100 to make it sound

Yeah, 4400, installed isn't that bad IMO. If he wants to race it at all, he should throw in at least a billet input shaft. But like everyone else is saying, it really depends on who is building it.
