2001 cummins auto 2500

my friend just bought this truck from decorah iowa it has 116000 miles on it and he paid 15 k for it wat do u think of the deal???? and hes wondering wat the dp tuner of cummins is. Im a ford guy and hes just wonderign wat the pest chip for an 01 cummins 2500 is thanks:smoke

sounds fair, but did he check fuel pressure at all yet? If the auto is all stock I would not recomend any more than what an edge ez will put out for power. If he is planning on building the trans later then go with an edge juice with attitude and get a pusher pump to keep the fuel pressure in the right specs. depending on what the truck was used for before it could be getting ready for a tranny.

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works

the dp tuner of the Cummins 24v vp44 trucks are www.bluechipdiesel.com but make sure the fuel pressure never dips below 10 psi and make sure to take care of the tranny before you do anything too hard on it
