breaking in a vp44?

Do you have to break in a vp44? I just installed my new pump and new injectors. I have not hooked up my drag comp and was wanting to know if I should wait or if it even matters.

I can't see why it would matter. I don't know for sure.
Sean, Bouncer or MoparMan might be able to give ya a straight answer.

The ones I've put in I just sent the person on there way. However sometimes you here about ones that are DOA.

I would consider a good lubricant additive for the life of the pump. But that only a suggestion.

As for any kind of tight machined parts I would run it a little while before putting up full load of the Drag Comp. You can hook up your Drag Comp but keep it down low for a few miles till everything seats in properly...

Just a wize choice...
