Newbie question controllers

I have a 2002 auto shortbed 2500 Ram. The only thing I have done is add S&B filter and a 4" exhaust system. Just looking for a controller that will get better mpg. Is there a place where someone has done comparisons. Getting ready to take a long trip lookng for any help. Do take off slow to let it spool up some. I am getting around 18 mpg now.

18mpg isn't too bad for a close to stock truck. With a box in it you probably won't beable to get much more than about 22mpg. Smarty would probably be a good one for you.

I've got a Edge Comp and run 4x4 level. I've gain roughly 2-4 MPG over stock.

Biggest gain can be had by following a simple rule... Keep your pyro UNDER 600*F and your boost UNDER 5 PSI. At this point I can see in the 20-22 MPG's easy.

55 MPH and light foot... (GPH = Gallons per hour, LOD = percent of LOAD, MPG = Miles per gallon, MAP = Boost Pressure PSIA)

Mild grade and 65-70 MPH...

I use a ScanGauge II to help keep my numbers high. :

Here is my fuel logs... Yes this winter is a low point. First year with winterized ULSD.
