need some help for a buddy

He has a 02 reg cab 6 speed. Uses it for a lot of goose neck hauling on a farm. Has a fass on it and wants a chip. What is the best chip for them? He is looking for good power. Looking at a edge, but i told him i would ask on here. Thanks in advance

I like my edge comp. box, I ran a Banks Outomind before and it helped but would not give any extra power until the TC Locked. So it felt good going down the road but in town it was weak.

You can't go wrong with Edge on the 2nd gens. The Comp and the Edge Juice Attitude work great. The Juice Attitude has a fuel pressure feature wich is a great benifit on this generation of Cummins.

Not sure what brand to get. im not all up to date on chip brands. But i would get like a 60 HP tow chip. If its the HO cummins. With the 60HP tow chip. You would get around 300Hp. Also you cant go too extreme by putting like a 150HP chip in. IF you put a too big of a chip in, especially when hauling a heavy load, You'll burn the motor.

Not likely, a 60hp chip in an ho 24v would not give you 300 rwhp. Maybe 270. Also using a 150hp chip will not burn your motor, it will ruin a stock transmission or clutch but unless you arent monitoring your boost pressures and egts then your engine will be fine.

Edge Comp or Edge Juice with Attitude are great choices but also don't forget the Quadzilla Adrenaline.
