Newb questions or ideas?? Free tips and tricks.

Im not wanting to put a box or programmer back on the truck and I already have 5 in. exhaust and a K&N drop in. Silencer ring is gone too. anything else anyone has an idea or a tip/trick??? thanks guys!!

Id ditch the K&N for a dry filter but thats just me... well and a few others...

dunno what to say for performance though-

Before you do anything else get a set of gagues (Pyro, Fuel psi, boost) then get yourself a healthy fuel pump/system. Take a look at airdog's stuff heard great from them latley. Then you can start looking at boxes and injectors type stuff.

like charlie said dont jump into fueling without the proper stuff to pull the fuel the boxes will pull.... go with a full intake system to due to restriction with the stock box and tube....but gauges are a muct...WATCH EGT'S!!!

Dump the K&N, install a good lift pump and bigger lines, gauges such as fuel pressure, pyrometer, transmission temperature, and boost. That will get you a solid foundation assuming you have changed all fluids, belts, hoses, and cleaned the engine and trans well.

It is a funnel-like device in the inlet o the turbo that helps keep the turbo noise down. Removing it allows the turbo to sing gloriously.
