Got my truck

Well Sold my 6.0 last week,

Found a nice dodge in Houston TX.

Flew down there Wednesday afternoon. looked at the truck and sealed the deal by 3.

Paid 14800 for the truck, stock 2002 34k miles.

Drove it home me and my friend.

23 hour drive

1550 miles

average 69 miles an hour

18.7 mpg restarted it for the trip. That was no additives and the truck needing service.

Did the drive straight shot never stopped truck ran for 24 hours straight!

Must see... Must see!

Congrads on the new truck... Now you get to start by fixing all the weak links and getting a set of gauges in that truck...

hand calculation.

Used over head monitor just for miles driven and total time to calculate average speed

Grab a ScanGauge II and calibrate it and find out even my speedo is off. I'm running stock sized tires but I'm off 1/2 MPH. So in even 25-28 Gallons of fuel I could be off about 10-20 miles...

There is 2 numbers used to calculate MPG in the overhead computer... Here is the formula for it...

Mile Per Gallon Calucation
Speed (Miles Per Hour) / Fuel Usage (Gallons Per Hour) = Miles Per Gallon

Gallons Per Hour Calculation

Speed (Miles Per Hour) / Miles Per Gallon = Fuel Usage (Gallons Per Hour)

Speed Calculation
Fuel Usage (Gallons Per Hour) x Miles Per Gallon = Speed (Miles Per Hour)

So if your speedometer is off (over size tires) your speed and odometer is wrong so even if you hand calculate you numbers will be different.

Then when you add fueling mods the overhead can't be re-calibrated for the change in flow. But the ScanGauge II can. I've current got a 9.6% offset from the ECM because of the Edge Comp.
