fuel injection pump timing failure is what your getting so i would say its bad if your injection pump goes out your lookin at over $1000 fix

VP44 injection pump is shot... (Phyiscal wear issues)

More than likely you got a dead lift pump too...

turns out it was just a dirty fuel filter causing it to throw codes

thats lucky but if it was giving the injection pump issues it has a chance of it not cooling properly and having issues still

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works

Lack of fuel flow will still do harm to a pump. But I would still keep a eye on the codes for awhile... You got to remember the fuel is the only lubricant for the VP44 if is starved for fuel then the lubing and cooling ability is reduced...

I'm just saying be careful and watch the codes for a week or so...
