injector bodies?

hey guys, i was wondering if you can change the bodies on the injectors and if so how? Thanks guy?????

Do you need to interchange a nozzle holder due to damage? What route are you going, just need to be clear depending.

its my buddies truck but he got 200hp ijs with xtrude honed bodies i think but he doesent have a ijpump to support them yet and we were wondering if the bodies would help at all. Thanks

Who did the injectors? Usually the intermediate disk and internal passage are enlarged to match the nozzle feed of 0.078". This will not hurt performance, it usually just isn't done until a certain hone size.

i think industrial injection, so what ur sayn is it basicly wont do anything? haha like power wise?

If he bought them from II they are EDMed, do you know what the hone size is? I'm guessing the intermediate disk was enlarged at most.

i have no idea, ill find out tomorrow i dont know much about the dodges iam a ford guy thinkn about getn one their prity nice, all i really know is their were about as big as he could get

If they are still VCO nozzles they are far from as big as he can get. I'm betting 7x0.012" with 0.010"-0.015" lift on the pintle.

haha i really have no idea i will tomorow tho, so i tried telling him that even if the bodies flow more the nozzle can only put out so much but i dont know to much bout them
