hot rod vp44?

what would happen if i put a hot rod vp44 on a truck with stock injectors? I know that on a first gen it will burn out the pump... If I am paying out the nose for the pump I want to make sure that i wont burn it out. Stay tuned for more questions I just got the truck, and I am used to a first gen.

There is really no need for a Hot Rod pump on stock injectors...

Your better off with a stock SO pump and putting a ehancement box against it.

you need at least 150 hp overstock 200's better though. you probably already know but if you want that much power upgrade trans to full billet first than a fass / airdog then stud kit and fire ring heads than save up for the pump, inj., and twin turbos do thouse three all at the same time. I didn't do it in that order and I have broken trans parts and a turbo.

In my opinion Industrail Injection Re-Man's are the best...Thats what I have on my truck, and I couldnt be happier, the got it to me quick, and you can get their pump with a FASS 150 w/ filters for 1500 or a Fass 150 w/o filter for 1350 which is pretty darn good deal!
