Question about Banks Package

I am looking for a Cummins currently, and although my history is in the dirty dozen 12v, I have found a rather desirable 24v that will fit my purposes.

After talking with the owner, the truck has 'Banks Powerpack TLC including Stinger TLC'. I have no idea what all that entails, so anyone care to lend a hand?

Also, it's a 98 Auto EC/LB with 240k on it, anything I should be weary of?

Check the FP #1 thing!!!...BANK$ is not that great IMO, but it is safe, so i highly doubt it would cause any damange to the truck...also check the 4x4, to insure it works well, ask about the front end, ball and u joins...

What should I be looking for in FP? Just consistent pressure? I know the lift pumps have a tendency to shat the bed around 200K so I am hoping that it has been done. The guy that has the truck really does not know much about it, and most of the work was done by a previous owner.

Look at Idle Pressure and WOT Pressure...Theses LPs dont last 200k...the stockers are lucky to go 50-70 thousand...i believe 10psi is the lowest that you want to go...if it is run on too low of FP too long then it will start to crack the diaphram in the VP44 and it will die, or it will starve it for fuel and it will die...but no stock LP will last 200k

I'm guessing your ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, etc are all shoot. Plan on replacing those.
