Blue smoke?

recently i have noticed a lot of blue smoke upon starting truck then i have before. no codes or anything but smoke is very thick till truck gets to operating temp. is this normal?

That'd be oil burning. How many miles you got.

I don't think so...

There is 2 other reasons too...

1. Grid heaters are not working properly.
2. VP44 is not advancing timing as required typically comes with P0216 error code.

As for me I got huge clouds of white smoke in the morning but don't burn a drop of oil. I don't have the P0216 error code. But my grid heater are disconnected.
