Exclamation exhaust brake

i have an 01 with 4 inch exhaust,tri disc converter,edge comp,rebuilt trans with shift kit,i installed an in line exhaust break but was woundering how to get more out of brake the brake is a pac brake exhaust kit i was thinking about a pressure lock but its a little spendy

converter lock up system like so

or you can do a manual switch just make sure to pay attention to what your doing when using it

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works

sorry to mention i do have the torc lock but i was told if i haul heavy loads i should have the pressure lock

that would of helped earlier. So your brake is not working that well, or whats the problem?

i guess my main question is that do i really need the pressure lock my exhaust brake works great but i have been told the pressure loc is needed to protect the torc converter

If you have an upgraded valvebody, upgraded torque converter which i see you have, and a billet input shaft you will be fine. You only need the pressure lock if you didn't have a shift kit for the valvebody or if you didn't upgrade your valvebody. The auto lock can also benefit you too because you can program your lockup speed and unlock speed.
