I did not see the timer I was walking by when it shut off and I asked the man how much it cost and he said 250.00. I thought they only came with a controler. I just assumed by the cost it was a single unit and wondered where and how to hook up. Thanks

go to isspros website. i had one of theirs on my truck. it was on the truck when i got it. its a box and i'm not sure 100% how they work just when you shut the key off it kills power to everything but the truck stays running until the truck is down to 300 degrees. it uses a regular pyro probe for that part

Sorry for the late reply... I've been gone to fire Academy...

But a turbo timer is a electronic timer that keeps the engine running after to shut the key off and removed for a set amount of time to allow the turbo to cool properly.

So instead of sitting in the truck waiting the 2-3 minutes for a turbo to cool you can shut the key off and jump out and the engine will remaining running for the set time. Most systems are tamperproof. So if someone thinks they can steal the truck it will die if they try...

So it hooks up to several things don't ask me but ignition leas, brake sense (guessin') and a few others...
