Threw a code

Threw a p1693 code today. I know its a companion code but is there anything to worry about with this code, and how can I clear it?

No CCD/J1850 messages received from the electronic transmission control module (EATX) or the Aisin transmission controller.

Check Relays and Sensors...you may need a new TCM...Is your tranny still shifting good?

Well its a manual so yes, I havent really notice any difference in daily driving though.

So basically the hetwork between the ECM and PCM is broke down... You might want to read up on the CCD netwrok and then back track you wiring between the two computers.

The thing is I thought it would have come up on the check engine light or so forth but the light hasn't come on yet.
