Exclamation 7 injection pumps....?!

like the title says my buddy, (muffdaddysram) has went through 7 injection pumps in the last year or so..,. yes he has replaced the lift ump 3 times. and has the warning light for low fuel pressure. he is totally stock except for 7 in stacks. he has ran 2 programmers in the past, a power puck and a blue chip box. but after putting a few inj. pumps on he is scared to put one on anymore thinking it will cause this problem sooner. he has had the last 3 warranteed but chip fisher is telling him there is nothing wrong with the pumps he sends to him.... but when he puts a new pump on it runs fine for about 5-6 weeks... chip said bosch bench tested these pumps and they told him that there is nothing wrong with the pumps warranteed! and this last time he contacted chip about this persisting problem chip is unwilling to help to get to the bottom of his problem... what do you guys think? we are taking it out to jim jessup today in indiana to see if he can figure it out even though its been to him twice already and all he can find is a bad vp44... jim was a engineer for cummins 30+ years so im sure he knows what he is talking about but all i know is this is BS to have to replace a pump 7 times and 3 lift pumps... we want to think its a apps sensor but there is not a 122 code... can any of you guys please help.
thanks
preston
