Installed my Flashtech HID kit

I have been wanting a set of HIDs bulbs for truck for quite some time now. I never had any problems with my LMC harness and Silverstar bulbs and really enjoyed the light output. But I wanted more. Of Course right? My first option was Ebay and the kit from Flashplus:

http://myworld.ebay.com/flashplus/ 94.99 not a bad price but I was worried about dealing with Ebay and any possible warranty issues.

So I went with a Flashtech Kit. They are actually sold by several site sponsors and have a lifetime warranty. I got mine (9004 Hi/Low 6000k kit) directly from the supplier. They were more expensive than the ebay option but having a lifetime warranty and being able to talk to american people to deal with warranty issues made it worth it for me. The Light output is incredible and the kit is easy to install. No pictures yet as it was dark last night when we put them in. I would reccomend that kit to anyone looking for the most extreme amount of light output.

Sweet. What are your plans for that LMC harness? Might be interested in picking that up off you if you're willing to part with it. HID's would be cool though too.

I actually have a brand new harness they sent me under warranty when a relay went bad, I just replaced the relay and used the original harness. So it would have one new relay and one used relay. P.M. me with what you think its worth.

Just curious what an LMC harness is? I have Silverstar bulbs in my truck with the factory harness and am happy with them. What does the harness do for the lights and where can you get it?

The harness supplies 12v directly to the bulb taking the load off of the headlight switch extending the switches lifes and providing a more stable load to the headlights.

looks good and bright. Looks like you have the same 1 piece headlights as me off ebay. Everybody i talked to that has them said that they are brighter than factory. Well mine suck horribly, they are adjusted right they just dont shine far. i love the way they look on my truck but i couldnt see crap, so i took my blue headlights out and put the silverstars in and it helped but still nothing like stock, i ended up buyin a bull bar off ebay for 207 shipped( same thing as a westin but without the name brand and about 300 cheaper) and mounted some hella driving lights and with them on the lighting is awsome. some reason why my 1 piece lights are crap for lighting? sorry for hyjackin thread. whats the lmc harness for also?

Thanks, I am not sure why your lights suck. Maybe you should try a Relay harness or get some HIDs. See post 6 for what the harness helps.

well hopefully mine work! I got mine from Pure Cummins Diesel Performance, the first set they sent me was bad. Steve (their tech) took them to his house and bench tested my set after I had installed them and they didn't work. He sent me all new parts and all new wiring harnesses and they get installed, again, Friday may 1st...cannot wait to get them in and they work!

They stand behind their warranty for sure!
