Trans lock up

I recently purchased a 2000 dodge 3500 with a cummins and a auto trans. Has a bigger turbo and 5 inch exhast, with 3.55 gears. Cant seem to keep it locked up when towing about a 9000lbs load in a enclosed trailer.

Just install a lock up switch!!!!!

2002 dodge 2500 4x4
Edge Juice W/Attitude
Hot Rod VP-44 stage 2
200 H.P. Injectors
HX-40 turbo(Silencer Ring MIA)/ BHAF
FASS 150/150
billet trans/TC 1600 stall (rebuilt myself) parts supplied by DUNERITETORQUECONVERTERS
2" leveling front kit
TRUCK SOLD

Two 84 chevy 1 1/2 ton pickups 6.2L Diesel (stock)
Turbo400, NP208 transfer case, Dana 60 front, GM 14 bolt rear W/Locker
89 Chevy K-5 Blazer 350/700r4/np241/gm10bolt rear dana44 front

Stock tc? Probably slipping like me drunk on ice. I'd still put a switch on it to make sure it's nothing electronic. If it's locking up unloaded though that makes me believe it's the t/c itself though.

Disclaimer: Upgrading the t/c on these will cause you to fall in love with your truck.

What kind of switch? Where can obtain one? How do they install? I understand how they work, but I was browsing around today and couldnt find anything for this application

You can most likely do it right now. Jump your transmission relay, t into your orange w/ black tracer wire out of the middle harness on the PCM and run it to a ground and control it with a switch.

I like it, or the edge comp and gauges but that makes the juice cheaper

use a two prong switch one side ground other lead wire from TC wire (should be solid orange or orange with white strip) coming of PCM on fire wall, cut and splice lead wire into TC wire. will need a .5 OHM resister on ground side

I wouldnt put a lock up switch on a Stock Converter, many die that way...just saying....
