Draw Straw 1

Am in the middle of the install and had a question. The draw strap I received has 3 barbs, 2 1/2" barbs and a gold 3/8" barb. Also received was a 1' piece of 3/8 fuel hose and band clamp. Where does this go? I assume the other two are for fuel to engine and return.

This sound more like a vulcan Big Line kit and you attaching to the stock fuel line. Basically mine was a chunk of 3/8 hose for the line between the lift pump and the tank and it hose clamped to the stock steel fuel line that you cut near the tank.

kind of like this...

Hope this is ok to post:

"By popular demand the original DrawStraw™ I is now available again in dual return port configuration. Two years ago when we offered the DSI with dual return ports there was little interest, now with the wide popularity of FASS and AirDog systems we are bringing this unit back.
The DSI with dual return ports allows the user to install a regulated return fuel system without drilling the top of the module or cutting the filler neck tube, makes for a super clean and secure installation and brings all the return fuel back into the bucket for replenishment during low fuel situations."

Here is a pic of the "older" Draw Straw I that I am using (doesn't have the added return port, so I am one of those people like the above statement that cut my filler neck tube to run my AirDog 100 return line into):

So it turns out I got a draw straw for the Airdog, hence the 3rd barb for the return from the pump. Just had to cap it off. Anyway, everything is installed & working.

HUH?

Return line from the VP44 or the AirDog must not be capped off... They both return to the tank...

No, the 3rd barb on the draw straw itself. And I got the Raptor, so no return from the pump itself.
