there kinda hit and miss with most people... but most people with a stick loves em ... i stacked one with my edge juice and with it self and i didnt care for it. best thing to do is find someone that has one then try it out for yourself.

ooo but i do love the high idle feature...

Yeap that's exactly what I did I barrowed Bob Wagner's personal Smarty and played with it for a few weeks and found that stacked against a Edge Comp is too much for stock clutch. So I stick to my Edge Comp.

As for the high idle I love it too... Plus I can enable mine at anytime...

They are rated for 65ish HP. The different settings have the same peak HP, they just change on how the truck accelerates off idle.

I know it does wonders for my truck down low. It feels llike it fuels real hard down low plus its stacked with my hot juice w/attitude. A good clutch is a must though. My only complaint is running the two togehter i get kind of a dead pedal deal going on. There is like a real small sweet spot on the pedal where it keeps fueling, go past it and it stops fueling or let off and stab it again and it picks back up for some reason? It doesn't do it on lower juice settings but I only run the smarty on 8.

2000 CTD, HOT Juice w/Attitude, Smarty, Mach 2 injectors (105 HP), 4" exhaust, BHAF, SB Clutch, FASS 150 ARP 12mm studs, stage 3 snow kit.

2008 f350/96 cummins in the works.

I've been having the same problem with mine. Small sweet spot around 30-40 percent throttle position. It still accelerates under heavy throttle but very slowly. When backing the throttle off slowly at around 50-60mph, you can feel a definite surge forward when it hits the sweet spot. Have tried all levels on the smarty. Anyone else have this problem or know what it might be?
