That would be pretty bad for a pulling rig, or a rock crawler. I definitely like it. Didn't look around enough to find a price. Any ideas?

$6500 CTIS isn't extra, neither is AWS. It just comes as a set for all 4 wheels and whatever set up AWS or just front.

Question is why would you need something like that?

*Another 5 inches of ground clearance.

*The gear reduction would take you take you 5.31 w/ 3.55's and 6.15 w/ 4.10's.
While having the teeth contact area of a high gear (but I doubt that's a issue anyways being they are very good Dana axles stock)

*CTIS would add traction something fierce

*Also then you'd have a back up plan in the event of a flat tire

*Planning on CTIS and ARB lockers (which is best option for lockers) You could just invest your money in one Air compressor. And if you were good you could figure out how to run your CTIS, ARB lockers and Air tools all from the same air compressor. Imagine the possibility's.......

*If you could figure out how to convert your rear axle to a steering axle, you would have incredible maneuverability and turning radius.

This would really turn these trucks into incredible machines off road. They obvious have ballast issues, but being how fuel efficient a 5.9 Cummins is. You can start taking these places you wouldn't have dreamed of before.

So wait, are these CTIS portals Air actuated then? I would be all over them if you weren't always running an extra 1.5:1 reduction.

I assume they are air actuated, I thought all CTIS were. That 1.5 reduction (or some kind of reduction) is probably a need really if you think about it. An extra 5 inches of lift and bigger tires are a must or the truck would look goofy. That's my opinion though. It's going to be a few years before I can think about something like this.

What were your thoughts on this? All I got is theory and that doesn't always point me in the right direction.
