Front differential?

Yesturday i noticed there was oil on the frame and fender well on the passenger side. It was 90 weight. Found that it was coming from the breather on my front diff. Last time i checked it, it was at the right level. Have done nothing to it since. I dont see how the oil is traveling all the way up the breather hose unless it has alot of pressure in diff. Has anyone had this problem or know of anything i can check?

Re check the fluid and make sure there isn't water in it... That the only thing I can think of...

I checked the oil and it is low, can't even touch oil with my finger. Is there any way that the vaccum thing on the axle is causing it to pressure up?

That wouldn't cause that. The vacume diaphram is sealed and only actuates the 4 wheel drive, if the the diaphram did leak it wouldn't affect the gear oil, 4x4 just wouldn't work.

If it was me I would pop the cover off and drain and reload both front and rear axle with fresh gear oil.
