Unhappy 1999 2500 Dodge ram ecu flashing

Ok this might be a dumb question. I just got a 1999 dodge ram 2500. I know that the speedo is controlled buy the ecu. I have 35" tires on it. I also know that you can change tire sizes from the ecu it doesn't have that tire size so my question can you flash the ecu to an 01 which has all of the different tire sizes?

Actually no...

ECM = Engine Control Module
PCM = Powertrain Control Module

Actually the ABS computer is want requires the flashing and there is only a few ways of dealing with it. Using a programmer like SuperChips or Smarty or going to the local Dodge Dealer for the re-calibrate.

The ABS computer needs the calibration for proper braking function then the speed information is passed by CCD network to the PCM for the Intrustment Cluster for speedmeter display.

my local shop did my recalibration on my 01 you needed to know revolutions per mile I think or something like that.

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works

Most tire shops can give you the revs/mile number.

yeah or any tire ship online too. It's in the specs. It worked fine on my 01. The 99 is going to get some work now too. It's off by a lot. 35's on it calibrated to stock still.
