Heaviest Bed Load

So far this is my heaviest bed load...I'll scan the weight slip at work tonight and e-mail it back to myself and post it tommrow but it reads 4560lbs...I think I overloaded my overload springs.

If I knew the loader was going to put that much I probably wouldn't have done it. Ohh well it's done now here are the pictures.

Where did the springs go???

Na, I would say your fine. I've had more than that in the back on several occasions. I would say that is about 2 yards give or take. Ive had close to 3 before, just be careful on the bumps and curbs, don't wanna blow a shock. Nice truck by the way

I've had mine loaded with pea-gravel, level at the sides, and the center was mound about a foot over the bed rails. Not a smooth 40 mile ride, I think i was ridin on the bump-stops the entire way. Shocks were toast shortly after that!

I remember when I bought some river rock to do landscaping at my house. I ordered 2 yards and had them load it in the back of my truck....... It didn't take me long to figure out what a yard of rock was. Luckily it was only 3 miles down the road.

How did it drive w/ all the weight in the back? It always seemed like my Cummins were better off w/ a ton or more weight in the back. I think it jacks w/ the caster angle in a good way.

I've done about 7-8000 lbs with tank load of crude oil and brine water. talk about bottomed out, but I never really hauled very far. Just a couple of miles and went really slow so that nothing broke.
