overhead console removal

I have an "02" 2500 that has the overhead console with the thermometer and compass. Does anybody know how to get the dang thing down. I undid the two clips you can see but something else is keeping it from comming down. Any help would be great.

Un-do the 2 clips careful then slide it forward or backwards... (can't remember) to get off the other to clips.

I just took mine down to replace the right side reading lamp switch. It took removal of the entire harness. no problem. Just plug and play. Now it is good for another 11 years.

I think he is talking about the "clips" in the compartment for the garage door opener right behind the display,
