I think I know the answer, still would appreciate advice.
Water in fuel light on. Ok heres the story. Went romping in the snow through some deep stuff last night. While driving through the pretty much white out and close to 2 ft of drift, the water in fuel light came on. I have installed a FASS
150/150 and run 1/2 in line from FASS
to IP. Eliminated factory fuel bowl, lines, etc. The factory connectors are just loose in the engine compartment. Since they are factory connectors I did not tape the crap out of them like I would something that would easily ground out. Does anybody think snow could have cause the light to come on or do you think I will see this again. This is the first time I have seen this. I did only do the install the beginning of last year. This is the first time I have gone rompin in a white out. Also When I stopped for a while and let the truck idle while I went and checked some stuff out, when I came back the light was off. After rompin again it came back on. I think I have the answer, but if anyone on here has seen this related to wiring or grounding issues please let me know.
