I carry a jug of the diesel 911. I Never had to use it. I use blended fuel. #1 and #2 usually a 50/50 depending on how cold its going to get I run 50/50 down to about -15 after that i go #1 70/#2 30 cause thats to cold to mess with any problems. Knock on wood I have not ever geled with this.

My brother's GMC shut down on him at -15F the other day. He was using #2 treated fuel. I use (one shot) at 20F on untreated fuel and : on all fuel at 0F but that may be overkill?

Most fuel it graded to be the right stuff, pre treated to the weather in our area. If you go from the south going north then you may need a conditioner, or if you do not use the truck very often then it may have the wrong grade of fuel in it. Or if your lockal store does not sell a lot of fuel it may have the wrong grade. If you are woried then buy some and use it for piece of mind.

I've been using snowmobile 2 cycle oil here... No problems as of yet down to -20*F...

But also be aware of some of the products being dump as additive to the fuel I found so drum behind our local fuel station marked for anti-gel additive. But the main ingredient was Xylene (paint thinner) right on the label. Now i ask the store manager and she told me that they add this on top of what ever the delivery truck bring as fuel...

So be careful and remember the winterized anti-gel are not lubricants but cetane boosters and pour point depressants (PPD)...
