2001 codes?

On my truck it shows p500 and 1693 i guess i dont know if either of these codes would cause my problem though. Its problem it when its getin to about 2000rpm it acts like its runnin out of fuel but i dont think it its. it starts like missing and shaking really bad. the reason i dont think its running out of fuel is because i just change my fuel filter and it my pressure guage show 17psi and thats at he injection pump. could it be my injection pumps going out or somthing else. let me know what you guys think. thanks

well 0500 is a no speed sensor code...and 1693 is a companion code...Did you get the filter housing tight? What all is done to the truck mod wise?

Yea i got the filter housing tight, this problem is the reason i changed the filter and it still did it. The truck has stage 5 injectors cold air intake and a edge drag comp.

is this only going on while on level 5? If so you need to get your computer reflashed you have a program in the computer that adds timing and your over timing the thing.

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works

No this happens wether the chip is off or on on any level. could it possibly be doing this because of an injector. I usually just drive it to school and its only 5 miles and it really never get wormed up fully. Today i took it on a 40 mile drive to town and got it good and warm and it ran fine on all levels and never did surge or anything. Also this problem started around the begining of December. I know on one of our older tractors that when its cold it missis but when it warms up its fine, could this possibly happen to my truck?

fuel delivery problem

you may have starved the injection pump ,the lift pump is not providing enough fuel resulting in injection pump damage, your symptoms are just what i experienced ,i tried to check every thing starting cheap, the end result was the purchase of an injection pump 1690$$ cand.. and about 5 hrs labor, if this is your problem make sure you have fuel pressure to the pump when you install the new one
