Mileage Chip for 2001

What is the everyone's opinion for the best mileage chip for really cheap? It's going on a 2001 ext cab long bed 2wd 6 speed that has a intake and exhaust. The guy is 70 years old on a fixed income, this thing needs to be cheap and effective. Best thing I've found was an Edge Mileage Max at $308, adds 35 hp and 7% increase in economy. Other thoughts?

I use the Quadzilla mileage max on mine. The one thing I have been installing instead has been the Quadzilla xzt 65+. It is a tow chip with the mileage max programmed in. it runs about 300 and installs in minutes.

something with timing...if you want mpgs and performance you cant beat an Edge Comp on 5x5...The Edge Mileage Max works pretty good from what i hear, but I dont have any personal experience with them

thats what moparman gets and he has a manual 2500 and it's maintained as well as any truck you will find. I think someones math or odometer is wrong. The people with 4.10's I know don't get near that. I wish I was getting that. First real long road trip will be in march for whittman 900 miles of driving each way.

I dont want to come off the wrong way but..............No way you get 24 mpg with a 3500 and 4.10s!.......................but if you do please tell me how!!!!!!!!

I have a 02 3500 4.10 6 speed. 130,000 miles. now I do have real aggressive mud tires but how much can they really take away? and a heavy custom flat bed the truck scales over 9,000 lbs empty so its a lil heavy but The most I can get is around 15 but alot of the times im getting 12.5 -13.5 mpg most of my driving is around town, now with 20,000 on it it will not chnage much maybe down around 11, so I would think if the pump was going or injectors my mpg when towing would really suffer?.... I wish more people running 3500's and 4.10 would chime in
