Am I Crazy?

So dodge killed another power steering pump...Napa Lifetime, gotta love it...no steering, fluid coming out the top...so take it to the guy this morning he pulls the old one off, puts the new one on, i called him and he says you still dont have power steering, and im lost, unless they put the pump on wrong, or something is wrong with the pump, i cant think of what else would be the problem...

the day i graduated high school
Mind did the same thang. Heres what i did, I putted the new one on and filled it and left it sittin over night the next mornin checked it and it dropped down, so i added some more and started the truck up and bled it a few good times and took it for a 4 or 5min drive (it was still alittle sticky but good enough to drive) well came back and bled it some more and checked the fluid.Drain down alittle so added some more and bled it some more and turned the truck off. (i letted the truck cool down and when i started to leave, and everything seemed fine)

yes He's pretty good at 'putting a pump on' or 'replacing ball joints' for a cheap price, but he's not a great diagnostics guy...

turned out the pump was just air locked even though i said did u make sure there was no air and he said yes

i told dad this should renforce the fact he needs to build me a nice concrete floored shop with heat
