Ive usually B&W shift kits in my drag truck but usually just drain the pan and take off the valve body and insert the heavier springs and so on. Bascally the only thing your doin is putting more pressure on the tranny and tranny lines so for example leave it like the way it is and the tranny is gonna slip and all else and if you insert the shift kit it wont slip and the higher RPM and speed is the tighter the bands/clutches get. What do you have done to your truck now and is your truck slipping? Usally you can get a good torque converter and valve body and thats all yourll need, if you dont go too crazy with it

I like Superior's shift kits. Lower price, and I've had better luck with superior over transgo. Last transgo I did, something went wrong, or I messed something up, or something bizarre happened.
