It can hold up for a little while but your drive pressure is through the roof and your egt's are probably hot. I would save up for a new turbo asap so just drive by your egt gauge and even if you get a small 62 your truck will run 10 times better than with that hx 35.

they can hold up pretty well. i would drill out the wastegate port and drill thru the divider as well. i think i went 7/8" on mine.

you should be fine, just watch your egt's, boost, try to refrain from barking it a lot...

what do you mean drill out the wastegate port and the divider? will the bad drive pressure blow a head gasket?also if i stay lowon the chip and not like 5x5 all the time i should be ok casue i normally only drive on level 1&2 some times 5 just to race onto the freeway lol

If you look at my sig mine would have held up ok but lots of throttle destroyed it. So the moral of the story keep EGT's low and boost pressure below 35. Mine blew about 45 PSI, EGT's were over 1200 if I remember correctly.

k thanks yeah ive hit 32 without the injectors so i think im gonna set the wastegate a like 34 just to be safe. i was wanting to get and hx40 but coulndt afford it right now so i jsut rebuilt this one in an hour and gonna run it till i can get a bigger turbo.im thinkin hx40 should hold up. another thing the T3 gasket on mine broke and no one has them and dealer wants $39 for one damn gasket can i just clean the the turbo and motor side and mate them and not have any issuses??

if you pull the turbo, pull the back plate off. you will see the wastegate puck in there. unhook the actuator from the arm and the wastegate will flip up and out of the way. i think its around a 5/8 hole. take a larger bit, like 7/8" and drill out the hole and also drill thru the divider so that both sides get wastegated.

they can take a lot of abuse.

anything over 35psi is just hot air. I know a few people that have blown theirs up with a max of 42 psi. They will not take daily abuse of 40 psi but will hold up ok now and then.

yeah, that pic was when my wastegate was still plugged(bought it that way). its nowhere near that with the 18.5cm housing now.
