RV275 injectors

I have an 02 and I think the injectors are going. Lots of blue foggy smoke, Terrible smelling exhaust, and poor fuel mileage. I am looking at the rv275's because of price and I don't want to mess up the tranny. Will these +40hp mess up a stock tranny? I don't beat my truck and it is not a daily driver, but I have to get more than 14 mpg. I have a quadzilla mileage max in, K&N, straight from turbo back, Fass pump.

I'm running RV275 injectors and clearing 20-21 MPG easy on daily driving...

What trans do you have auto or manual?

I would go for the full Quadzilla Adrenaline or Edge Juice. You find that running a full competition box wide open nets you more timing curve that MPG boxes do... I'm running a Edge Comp with the wire tapped and set on 5x5 (wide open).

Then ditch that K&N for BHAF. K&N filters had a bad rap... As for the BHAF mine is over 118K miles on it... Never need washing, oiling, etc... Just works. 80-90% of my driving is done on dirt roads for the last 6 years and still the filter is going...

Check out that turbo nice and clean... No oil... no dust!

He is right on. Running the Edge untapped isn't as good as tapped, mileage-wise. Untapped, no improvement (or loss). 5x5 (tapped w/ BD stealth cover) gets me an additional 2-3mpg. I'll take the 15s over 12s ANY day. Though, my tweaked '92 gets 20mpg.

Night and day difference. Heck, I picked up 10# boost from going from a stock trans to built. Really gets the power to the ground.
