Buddy called ne. He did it but the truck will not register oil pressure but the motors got all sorts of it. Figuring since the pcm isn't seeing oil pressure it won't kick on fuel pjump either..

Says truck has a few codes about the vp since its no longer there..


Any help apreiciated.. any how to threads or people to talk to would be awsome!

He could've unplugged and forgot to reconnect the wire to the oil pressure unit. But the sender is under the injection pump and right beside the powersteering pump (kinda hard to get too). If its plugged in, you can also hook a mechanical oil pressure gauge to it. Above the oil filter, theres like a small bolt like a 1/2'' or 9/16'' and plug in the mechanical gauge and see what she reads.

97' Cummins 2500 Gauges from glowshift (EGT, boost) Fuel pressure gauge from auto-meter. Stage 2 airbox, boost elbow, barrels & plungers turned.Custom fuel plate,Airdog 150gph.AFC mods & 3K GSK.SDX injectors (stage 3 140hp).Drilled wastegate.Converted to a NV4500 with a double disc. Being restored from the ground up


01' Cummins 2500 (dads) with a Hotrod pump,100hp injectors, Fass 150, Edge juice with attitude,also plug and power chip,stage 2 ice box,4 1/2 exgaust pipe,HX40

Lift pump is completely ECM controlled no other outside sensor or relays...

I would double check the wiring between the ECM and the Lift pump plug.
