no you can't. Powerstrokes have a turbo pedistal that it mounts to and oil flows in and out it. If you want a garret save your money and put the garrett stage 2 turbo kit on your cummins like i did.

no I don't dude sorry. I drive the truck on the road a lot so its a daily driver and I like to have fun with it every now and then up the track. I did my research and the stage 3 was to laggy off the bottom for a daily driver. I can even drive my truck without my smarty on which would be stock, with my stage 2. towing stock is a little doggy when the TC is locked but unlocked no diference. I am in the process of saving for DDP 100hp injectors and a bluechip FMS box. The stage 2 turbo is good for around 450rwhp give or take. So I will be in my ballpark when I am done. My buddy owns N.E. Performance diesel and had a stage put on a customers truck and was complaing about haw laggy it was. It was swapped out with a stage 2 and the guy has been happy since. I will say over the stock HY35 this turbo is a lot louder. when its really spooled past 28psi you can really hear the air being sucked right in. The turbo is good for no more than 45 psi max. Power is the same with the smarty. I noticed more of a difference starting at midrange right through the top end, wether as with the hy35 i noticed the engine was being held back because of the restriction. The truck don't give up now when I keep my foot in it getting on the highway. I paid $1800 for everything. Took me a whole saturday taking my time to swap out the turbo. I think in my opinion it was money well spent. I won't give this up now, I like it to much.
