Thinking I might have a leak

I dont know what it is maybe just weather or something but I cant seem to get over 25 psi of boost. The only thing I can think of is that maybe i have a boot that is leaking but I really cant tell. Any Ideas?

start by checking the boots for leaks. I use a piece of 4" pvc with a series of plugs and reducers, to get it down to a 1/2" threaded fitting that I have connected to a valve and then I have an air fitting on it. This way I can use shop air to pressurize the system and can check for boost leaks. I have also seen people use a PVC cap, and drill a small hole in it, then caulk in a tire valve stem so that it is sealed, and then use a normal tire inflator to pressurize the system.

So that is where I would suggest starting. then spray every fitting and boot with soapy water and start checking.

They are getting pretty old I was thinking about just going ahead and replacing them. Any suggestions on a good set of after market boots?

Mr Bobs boots they hold up to 125+ boost pressure and nitrous use. They are not cheap but they will not leave you with issues. Did you check the drivers boot by the fender at the intercooler a lot of them rub holes there.

I would build a turbo cap and pressure the system looking for leaks with soapy water (bubbles)...

You might also check your wastegate it might be sticking open?

How would I get the waste gate back closed and do you think it would still hold 21 psi with it stuck open?

Well I took it in today to get another opinion and turns out I have a big leak in the manifold gasket. So they wanted to charge me 500 to fix it after parts and labor. Said thanks but no thanks so with parts and a diagnostic fee Ill be walking out the door about 140. One thing he also mentioned was that the two bolts that hold on the heater/filter (which I no longer have on there) help hold down the manifold...... I was not aware of this, Mopar hopefully you can step in and give a little advice.

Any advice in installing the new gaskets and or bolts... is greatly appreciated.

Im thinking its normal, I got the new gaskets in and everything and I swear its a new truck. amazing how much 9 or 10 pounds of boost can effect the ride. Ive seen 30 and am happy, I dont think I have nearly enough fuel to push 35 right now anyways. On top of all that the highest temps i have seen so far are just over 1100 which is a big improvement.
