So my starter solinod fuse blew memorial day. I put a new one in thinking It would happen again, it did went thrugh two fuses today. I havent looked at it real close the wires look good a little corowded but not to bad. Im thinking it might be time for a new starter- or at least a new solinoid any ideas?

There are contacts to repair the solinod, check the brush length while the starter is off.

I would check the solenoid out first... Pull the starter and inspect the solenoid lead stud...

This is a first gen starter I did...

On 24vs there is a diode to protect some thing else when the solenoid contacts go high resistance OR the battery terminals. I think it was on the TDR. The factory did not find the need but the malfunction shows starting about 200k and can be solved with solenoid contacts, battery terminal service, replacement of weak/mismatched batteries, grounds or a combination of those.
